CRANBERRY WALNUT PIE

1 Whole Wheat Pie Crust
3/4 C coarsely chopped walnuts
3 large eggs
3/4 C combination milk and heavy cream
1/2 C maple syrup
2 C fresh or frozen cranberries

Sprinkle the walnuts in the bottom of crust. Blend the eggs, milk and maple syrup together in blender. Pour over the nuts. Sprinkle the cranberries over the top of the pie and bake @ 350 F for 45 minutes or until the center of the pie is firm. Allow to settle for at least 20 minutes before serving.
