KATHLEEN'S CASSEROLE

This recipe is from my friend Kathleen down in Arizona.

4-6 slices bread of choice, cubed (pumpernickel is really good)
10 oz spinach or swiss chard
8 oz mushrooms
4-6 eggs
2 C swiss cheese
pepper to taste
1/4 t nutmeg
dash of paprika

Saute the mushrooms in butter. In a large bowl mix together all of the ingredients and then spread into an 8 x 8 pan. Bake @ 350 F for about 20 minutes or until bubbly.
