INCREDIBLE WHEAT ROLLS

I copied this recipe out of a magazine back in 1984. Here is my altered version using a natural sourdough starter. It's fabulous.

1/2 C starter
1 C milk
1/2 C butter
1/2 C sour cream
2 eggs
1/4 C sugar
1 t salt
5 C whole wheat flour

In 1 quart pan, heat milk, butter, & sour cream just until butter is melted.

Follow instructions for making bread on the bread page.

When you shape the dough, shape into 12 rolls. Place in a buttered 9x13 pan.

Continue with basic bread recipe.
