I could not figure out where to place this recipe. It seems to fit the description of appetizer best. We like to have salmon patties with soups or salad, and sometimes even as a sandwich.
1-7.5oz can of salmon (do not drain)Mix all ingredients together. Allow mixture to sit for 10 minutes. Make into small patties about 2 inches in diameter. Fry over low heat with just enough butter to keep them from sticking in a cast iron skillet. From 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Move to a cooling rack to drain for a few minutes. Serve warm or cold. We like them with the following sauce.
