Goat Clocks
|
These clocks are pendulum clocks that are hand made from wood. We are offering three styles. Alpine, LaMancha, and Nubian. The udder of the goat on these clocks is the pendulum. Below are photographs of the clocks in progress with one completed.
 |

 |
| Nubian, completed and in action |
 |
| LaMancha, burned, stained and custom painted |
- Cost: $45.00 each
- Overall dimensions:
- 15 1/2 inches tall
- 9 inches wide
- 1 1/2 inches deep
- Wood Type:
- Nubian and Alpine clocks are made from Birch
- LaMancha clocks are made from oak
- My friend cuts out the clock pieces by hand using a scroll saw.
- I burn the detail marks by hand using a nibsburner.
- They are then glued (fronts to backs), and a hole is drilled for the stem of the clock movement to fit through.
- They are sanded, stained, and painted by hand.
- And finally, the clock movements (which we purchased-and no, we are not interested in building clock movements) are added.
Please contact me if you would like to pre-order a clock. If you pre-order, the clock can be painted to look like your very own goat. To have them custom painted please send a photograph of your doe with your request.

No animals were harmed in the making of the goat clock. Never feed the goat clock. Do not taunt the goat clock. Milking the goat clock may produce undesirable results. The goat clock should not be stared at for long periods of time. Lusting after the goat clock is wrong. In purchasing the goat clock you agree that you are a goat lover and that you are silly. You also agree to tell all your friends where you got your goat clock and what a great deal it was.
