Tamwyn comes to us from Forrest Pride Dairy Goats. His paternal grandam is the breed leader for production six years and running. I told Andrea that my priorities were as follows: Temperament/Disposition, Milk/Long Lactation, Confirmation/Large Size. She and I discussed which of the kids coming would be the best fit given my criteria and of the three does I ended up choosing, only one had a buckling-that made choosing very easy!

Stormy was the Senior Herd Sire here at Fieldstone for a number of years. He had the BEST disposition for a buck. His pedigree is stellar, and the kids I have retained from him are turning out very nicely. All of his daughters are excellent milkers with well attached, even udders. I am hopefull that his son will be even nicer than he was.

Bartimaeus is my first attempt at breeding a "superior being" in the world of bucks. The cross between Ariella and Stormy has always given me kids that were superior to both dam and sire, so when I sold Ariella it was with the understanding that she was to be bred back to Stormy that year, and if they produced a buck, I got first choice. Not only did she have a buck, he was the only kid she had and he was a 13 lb buckling.

I purchased Cormac's dam in the winter of 2007. The main reason for purchasing her, was the hope that she would have a buckling kid. India was bred to Tuff Enuff of Lover-R-Goats farm who goes back to an exlemplary doe by the name of Tegan. Tegan and her kids represent top genetic lines from the east coast. India gave us Cormac! He is a very nice buck already weighing near 200 lbs as a 2 year old, and I am well pleased with his dam's udder and stellar dairy temperment. I am looking forward to freshening one of his daughters next year.
